PARK VIEW MS BANDS

Richard (RJ) Olson has been the band director at Park View Middle School since August 2024. Prior to his position at Park View, Mr. Olson student taught at Mukwonago High School in the Spring of 2024. 

The Park View Band Program sees outstanding retention and growth with grade-level bands boasting nearly a hundred members.

 

Mr. Olson is the director of the Band Jump Start 2 summer school program for incoming 6th and 7th-grade students, is a brass coach for Jump Start 1, and is a member of the MHS Marching Band and Blue2 Winds staff.

Mr. Olson holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from  Carroll University. In his free time, Mr. Olson enjoys spending time with his girlfriend who is also a music educator and their cat, Toad.
