Jesse Clark
Low Brass Specialist
Bass trombonist, Jesse Clark, is an active performer and educator currently based in the
Milwaukee area. Jesse holds a bachelor’s degree in music performance from the University of
Wisconsin - Whitewater and is currently working on a master’s degree from the University of
Wisconsin - Milwaukee.
Jesse was privileged with many opportunities to perform in masterclasses presented by Brad
Edwards, Mark Fisher, Jim Pugh, Brittany Lasch, and Martin McCain.
During his time at Whitewater, he performed with the Whitewater Symphony Orchestra,
Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble I, Trombone Ensemble, multiple chamber
ensembles, and the UW-W Marching Band. In his last year with the UW-W Marching Band,
Jesse was appointed as one of three Drum Majors during the ‘18-19 season. As a member of the
Whitewater Student Brass Quintet, he had performed for commencement ceremonies, along with
two hooding ceremonies. Jesse is an active member with the UWM Symphony Orchestra, Wind
Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, and the Graduate Trombone Quartet.
Jesse is currently on staff with Blue2 Winds in the Mukwonago school district as a chamber
coach and has worked with the Mukwonago High School Band and Fort Atkinson High School
Jazz Ensemble as a clinician. In addition to teaching, he has served as a guest speaker for his
former high school in Marshall, WI.
Outside of music, Jesse can be found watching sports, or searching for delicious foods as an
amateur connoisseur.
