Casey Kotowski
Colorguard Coordinator
Casey Kotowski is very excited to be the new colorguard instructor for Mukwonago. She is from the Milwaukee area and attended Whitnall High School, where she began performing in the fall marching band. During this time she also performed with Cudahy Independent winterguard, where she had the opportunity to perform at WGI prelims in Dayton, OH, as well as the Lighthouse Brigade of Racine.
She began teaching colorguard in 2015 when she was the instructor for the Lighthouse Brigade Junior band. In 2016, she was the colorguard tech for Brigade’s senior band.
Casey attended college at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. There she was a member and section leader in the Tulane University Marching Band, where aside from performing for football games, she marched in over a dozen Mardi Gras parades. While in New Orleans, Casey was a founding member of Green Wave Winds, a WGI Winds group. In 2018, she was a member of The Proposition winterguard, which is the competitive ensemble of the New Orleans Colorguard Arts organization. Casey graduated from Tulane in 2018 with a BSE in Engineering Physics, which she hopes to actually use some day.
